DALLAS – While hungry locals await the Greenville Ave. Trader Joe’s opening, dirty car owners are in luck – Tommy Terrific’s Carwash on Ross Ave. is open! Located at 5021 Ross Ave., on the corner of Ross and Garrett (next to Walgreens), the carwash will celebrate its Ribbon Cutting with the East Dallas Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, September 6th and kick off its Grand Opening promotion.
The express exterior wash focuses on fast and friendly service where vehicles are in and out of the 145-foot carwash tunnel in approximately three minutes. Customers are offered the option to have the vehicle hand-dried with microfiber towels or by-pass to make a quick exit with a wash Tommy’s calls, “The Quickie.” Vacuum use is complimentary and mostly shaded.
Carwash prices are easy to remember: $5 for the “Good,” (also known as “The Quickie”), $10 for the “Better” and $15 for the “Best.” The Best wash includes a five-day clean car guarantee – with receipt customers can bring back their vehicle for any reason (not just rain – ANY reason!) and receive the Best wash again free. Monthly-unlimited carwash plans are available with prices starting at $25 per month and gift cards are available for purchase on site as well.
In honor of their Grand Opening, Tommy Terrific’s is offering The Quickie carwash for $1 from September 6th – 27th. This promotional discount can be applied to other washes (excluding monthly plans and gift cards).
The Ross Ave. location is the second for the brand, with the existing Tommy Terrific’s Carwash in North Dallas at 3541 Forest Lane, which opened in 2008. Both locations focus on environmental sustainability. The sites feature underground water recycling units and use only environmentally friendly soaps and chemicals in the wash process.
“Ross Ave. is a main artery connecting several established and growing neighborhoods in Dallas,” said Tom Miller, owner of Tommy Terrific’s Carwash. “Tommy Terrific’s on Ross will be our third location and we are excited to bring our expertise to the area and join the community, who so far, has welcomed us with open arms.”
Miller, a Dallas native, has more than 25 years experience in the car wash industry. In addition to the Tommy Terrific’s Carwash brand, he also owns / operates a full-service car wash in Allen, Texas, TradeMark Car Wash.
Tommy Terrific’s on Ross is a proud sponsor of the Henderson Art Project, an organization that believes the community and artists mutually benefit from supporting the arts.
